Coron Palawan is famous for its dramatic limestone cliffs. At the base of these lies many shipwreck diving sites that help make this one of the top 10 diving sites in the world, according to Forbes Travel magazine. The best part of it all, though, is the secret beach. This hidden paradise has beautiful waters, pure white sand and breathtaking scenery, thanks to the surrounding limestone formations. The only way to get to this secret gem is to climb over the cliffs-a great adrenaline rush!-or swim under them. Although there is quite a bit of work involved in getting to this place, once you’re there you’ll definitely agree that it was worth it. An unforgettable experience with one of the best beaches in the Philippines.

Boracay may still be the most popular destination in the Philippines, but it has a rising challenger in Pagudpud, which is often called the Boracay of the North. Like it’s southern competitor, Pagudpud has dazzling white sand and crystal blue water. If you’ve ever been to Hawaii and are torn between going back and seeing more places, come to Pagudpud. Strong winds and waves, comparable to Hawaii’s, make this another popular surfing spot. Pagudpud is more secluded than Boracay as well, making it ideal for people looking for a more out of the way vacation spot.
